Cannabis Advocates Continue Push During 2026 Legislative Session


Alabama Cannabis Coalition Hosts 7th Annual Lobby Day at State House


Montgomery, Alabama — As the 2026 Alabama Legislative Session moves forward, cannabis policy advocates will gather at the Alabama State House on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, for the 7th Annual Alabama Cannabis Coalition (ACC) Lobby Day.


Citizens from across the state will meet directly with Alabama House and Senate members to discuss current cannabis and hemp-related legislation, regulatory implementation, and policy reform.


Participants will begin the day at 9:00 AM in Room 429 (Overflow Room 418) before heading out in organized groups to engage legislators throughout the day.

Purpose of Lobby Day

The Alabama Cannabis Coalition, a grassroots organization active in state-level cannabis advocacy for over 14 years, organizes Lobby Day to provide structured, respectful, fact-based engagement between constituents and lawmakers.

Hemp-related legislation

Regulatory oversight

Market access and policy reform
