Alabama RAMP Honors the Life and Legacy of Ann Lee

Montgomery, Alabama — The Alabama chapter of Republicans Against Marijuana Prohibition (RAMP) and the Alabama Cannabis Coalition are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Ann Lee, founder of RAMP, on October 25, 2025.

Ann Lee was a woman of extraordinary strength, integrity, and courage. Fearless in her convictions, she took on the establishment and never wavered in her pursuit of justice and freedom. Ann did not merely talk the talk — she walked the walk. Her unwavering advocacy for reform and her compassion for others helped ignite a movement that continues to grow nationwide.

“We owe Ann Lee a tremendous debt of gratitude,” said representatives of Alabama RAMP. “Her vision and determination made it possible for us to establish our chapter here in Alabama. She inspired countless advocates to stand up, speak truth to power, and fight for common-sense Cannabis reform.”

In honoring Ann’s legacy, Alabama RAMP and the Alabama Cannabis Coalition reaffirm their commitment to her mission — to end the insanity of Cannabis prohibition and to ensure that all Americans have access to freedom, fairness, and truth.
