At this time, there has been no formal public announcement from the Alabama Medical Cannabis Commission confirming this leadership transition.

According to reporting by WAFF (Huntsville), Vaughn “recently stepped down from the top position on the Alabama Medical Cannabis Commission” as he assumes his new role at the county level.

This development marks the second leadership departure from the AMCC since its inception.
